I’ve even been giving myself a dose of my own medicine these past couple of weeks.  It’s that time of year where we all start reflecting.   We look back at the goals that we had set ourselves at the beginning of the year.  Quite often we start beating ourselves up because we haven’t achieved them all.   We don’t feel great about ourselves.   The way to do that is to start working on your vision for 2019 now!

  1. Don’t wait till January to take action.  It’s a big anti-climax.  Get a head start so when January comes you hit the ground running.
  2. Pre-Christmas reflect on 2018.     Catch yourself doing things right, not doing things wrong
What are you proud of?  What have you achieved? What has given you joy? What have you learned?
  3. Decide what you want for 2019 (not what you don’t want).  Gain not loss focused.  As well as setting yourself goals about things you want to achieve set them about how you want to feel and who you want to be.
  4. Lastly, consider what you will invest in yourself.  Even set yourself a budget.  Many people set money goals for the year or spend on their home.  BUT Many women don’t invest in themselves at all and the ones that do, only do so in superficial shit.  Reflect back and add up how much you spent on make-up, hair, nails, new clothes etc – you’ll likely be alarmed!!  For truly living your best life, consider investing in deeper stuff instead – – the stuff that will grow and develop yo

What I’ve learned and my Goals

2018 has been a huge learning experience for me and I’v decided that for 2019 I want to make 100% income from Violet Salt.   I’ve already planned the investment and development I have for myself for 2019. I want to feel relaxed be more present, notice more, slow down and live a more gentle life.

I’ve learned that I’m better at what I do then I thought I was.

I’ve learned that you need to speculate to accumulate.

I’ve learned that slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

I’ve realised that I can do anything I set my mind and heart to.

What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.

I can do this (and the other stuff) on my own.

I’m proud that I haven’t given up.

I’m proud of the person that I’ve become.

I’m hugely thankful for the love, belief and support of my family.

I’ve found joy in being mindful, not judging and really listening and reconnecting with my children

I’ve learned that my body and mind needs looking after.

I would love to hear what you’ve learned this year and what your aspirations and goals are for 2019. And don’t forget START NOW!  Love V xx
